Keep it clacky: a simple maintenance routine
Five minutes a month keeps your board sounding and feeling like day one.

A mechanical keyboard is built to last years — but a little care keeps it sounding crisp and feeling smooth. Here's a routine that takes five minutes.
Weekly: the quick pass
- Brush between the keys or hit them with a blower to clear dust and crumbs
- Wipe the keycaps with a barely-damp microfibre cloth
Monthly: keycaps off
Pull the keycaps with a wire puller and soak them in warm soapy water while you brush out the plate. Let them dry fully before putting them back — never rush this step.
When it feels off
A scratchy or rattly key usually just needs a re-lube or a fresh switch. Because our boards are hot-swap, you can pop in a new switch in seconds — no soldering, no downtime.
